We have been granted rights from the China Care Foundation to use the words China Care in our club name, and are also recognized by the Foundation as a official China Care club. China Care Bruins supports the work that China Care Foundation does, but it is independently operated and owned by the staff members who run the student organization at UCLA.

How do I join China Care Bruins?

Please refer to our How to Join page.

Aww, I missed the registration period during Fall Quarter. Is it too late to join?

Unfortunately, yes. We only have a limited number of spots available in our program each year, due to the constraint of the number of families who enroll their child into the program. Therefore, we cannot accept any new members after the fall recruitment period has passed.

How do I know if I ve been accepted into China Care Bruins?

After your interview, you should be notified of your application status by e-mail before the first buddy event of the year.

Do I have to be Chinese to join China Care Bruins?

No, definitely not! You don t even have to be Asian to be in CCB! All you need to be is a UCLA undergraduate who has a heart to help others and a passion for kids! Although the club s focus is on adopted children and orphans from China, we do not discriminate against or target a student of any particular race or ethnicity to join our club.

Copyright © 2009-10 China Care Bruins.
